What is individual therapy?
 

Individual therapy is a one-on-one relationship between you and a licensed therapist, designed to help you understand yourself more deeply, improve your emotional well-being, and develop healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges. In these private, confidential sessions, you’ll have a supportive space to explore your thoughts, feelings, patterns, and goals without judgment.

Do you take insurance?

 I am considered an “Out-Of-Network Provider". Insurance companies often dictate the care provided for clients which limits providers ability to provide the best possible care for our clients. I have dedicated myself to a consistently higher quality level of care and pride myself on being able to provide you with as many options as I can.

How can therapy help if you are battling a chronic illness?

Therapy offers essential mental health support for individuals living with chronic illness, helping you navigate the emotional, physical, and lifestyle challenges that come with long-term health conditions. Chronic illnesses often bring increased stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and feelings of isolation, and therapy provides a safe, supportive space to process these experiences and develop healthier ways to cope.

What will sessions look like?

After hopping on to our confidential telehealth platform, I will work to provide personalized sessions tailored to your needs.

 

Common methods I will utilize in sessions include mindfulness practices, cognitive-behavioral strategies, goal setting, and a strengths-based approach that looks at the client as a whole and not just their challenges. At Mello Mindset, I will work with you to incorporate stress management techniques that address anxiety, helping you find the balance and confidence in your daily life.
